Aldridge Celebrates the Opening of Our New Native Garden!

We are so grateful to Commissioner Kari Steele, DWM Commissioner Randy Conner, MWRD, WEF, Collective Learning Lab, and all of our amazing partners and volunteers for helping us bring this vision to life!

On Saturday, September 27th at 2:00 PM, we hosted a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for our brand-new observational garden. The garden will serve as a living classroom where Aldridge scholars can learn, grow, and lead as environmental stewards. Students will explore ecology, study native plants, and understand the vital role these plants play in creating habitats, managing stormwater, and improving air quality.

A heartfelt thank you to the more than 100 volunteers who helped make this project possible. Together, we’re proving that #EverythingGrowsInTheGardens.
