Dear Aldridge Families,
As we close out the school year, I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude – for your support, your trust, and for being such an important part of our school community. This year brought its share of challenges and growth, but through it all, we continued to show up for our kids, together.
We’re already planning for next year and excited to build on everything we’ve learned. The first day of school will be Monday, August 18, 2025—and we’re getting ready for a strong start.
Here’s what’s new for next year:
- Student Arrival and Breakfast: Doors will open at 8:15 AM, and breakfast will be served from 8:15 to 8:30 AM.
- Instruction begins at 8:30 AM sharp. Students who arrive at 8:30 am will still be offered breakfast, but we are reinforcing the importance of being on time.
Starting the school day a bit earlier allows us to bank over 1,900 instructional minutes for the year. This added time makes it possible to introduce monthly half-days so staff can engage in professional development and planning that directly supports classroom instruction.

On these Fridays, students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM, and staff will participate in training from 1:00–3:30 PM.
Lastly, the here is our Aldridge Supply List – PK – 8th Grade. You’ll receive communication from your child’s new teacher over the summer with more details about the upcoming school year.
