On Monday, April 22nd, Aldridge partnered with The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, People for Community Recovery, and Youth Guidance to participate in Community Clean Up Day in honor of Hazel Johnson, “The Mother of Environmental Justice.” 5th-8th grade students engaged in a presentation led by MWRD and participated in clean-up activities around Aldridge.
